The2025 SIDO survey was distributed electronically and received responses from July – October 2024. Complete or mostly complete responses were received from 46 states and Puerto Rico.

The 2023 SIDO survey gathered insights from international trade officials in 46 states, American Samoa, and Guam. It covers challenges in trade development, staffing capacities, and emerging trends for supporting U.S. exports and foreign direct investment.

The 2022 SIDO survey collected responses from 47 states and Puerto Rico. It explores the challenges state trade offices face, including staffing, budget concerns, and trade promotion services, along with trends in export development.
