Lindsey Werner

Lindsey Warner has been with the North Dakota Trade Office for 17 years, serving in multiple
roles up to her current position as Deputy Director. Since joining the NDTO, she has utilized her
extensive experience in event management and her meeting professional certification (CMP) to
plan and execute 33 trade/reverse trade missions, as well as host over 1600 international visitors.
Her vast knowledge of international market development provides both current and prospective
NDTO members with information crucial to finding success when exporting abroad.
Additionally, Lindsey manages the NDTO’s relationships with partner organizations and acts as
an intermediary between ND leadership and businesses. Her member advocacy efforts reach the
national level through the State International Development Organization (SIDO), for which
Lindsey has been an active board member since 2021.
Prior to joining the NDTO, Lindsey earned her B.S. in Mass Communications from Minnesota
State University Moorhead in 2004. She went on to work as a Communications Specialist for
Microsoft Corporation and earned a place on North Dakota Business Watch’s “40 Under 40” list
of business professionals in 2012.
